I am a musician and a mother. When my children were small, I could not devote the hours needed on my horn without some sort of interruption - and demand for immediate attention. I became a very frustrated musician. So I picked up my beading and jewelry making, because I could pick it up and leave it at a moment's notice, and have the work not suffer. It was a way of staying creative without the frustration attached.

As the years go by, I become more enthralled with the materials, and new techniques, and inspired by others. I have taken classes in wire wrapping, photographing jewelry, and in different beading techniques.

There are many things that I would like to learn in this craft. My challenge is to find a way to truly express who I am.
